1. Why choose Nature’s Energy over other Sydney bathhouses?

Nature’s Energy clearly offers the best-value bathhouse in Sydney because you pay a similar session price to other major bathhouses (from $39–$49 for early sessions, or $59–$69 for 90 minutes) but you get more included:

  • Traditional sauna included

  • Infrared sauna included (others often charge extra)

  • Medical-grade red light therapy included (similar standalone sessions in Sydney are often $40–$100)

  • Steam room and hot spa/mineral pool included

  • Ice baths / cold contrast included

  • Sea-salt scrub and botanical body wash included

  • Towel, locker, herbal tea and Celtic hydration salts included

  • Beautiful, nature-led sanctuaries (real plants, natural light), whisper-only

So for a $59–$69 bathhouse visit, you’re getting what many other venues sell as separate add-ons.

2. What’s included in a bathhouse visit?

Every bathhouse session includes:

  • Traditional sauna

  • Infrared sauna

  • Steam room

  • Hot spa / mineral or magnesium pool (varies by location)

  • Ice bath / cold contrast

  • Medical-grade red light therapy (full-body at Glebe and Balmain; smaller panel + salt space at Newtown)

  • Showers with Australian sea-salt scrub and botanical body wash

  • Recovery/lounge with herbal tea and Celtic hydration salts

  • 1x towel

  • Lockers, changerooms, toiletries and hair dryers

You do not pay extra for infrared, red light, towels or lockers.

3. Do facilities differ by location?

Yes — all locations have the full thermal circuit, and each has its own strengths.

Glebe (105 Glebe Point Rd)

  • 6:30am–8pm, 7 days

  • 2 x traditional saunas, 3 x infrared saunas

  • Steam room, hot spa, 4 ice baths, 4 pail showers

  • Outdoor/reflexology areas

  • Five full-body medical-grade red light panels

  • Best for: biggest space, groups (up to 36), contrast therapy lovers

Balmain (312 Darling St)

  • 6:30am–8pm, 7 days

  • Magnesium mineral pool

  • Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, steam room

  • Stone-carved ice baths

  • Full-body medical-grade red light therapy

  • Best for: early/late visits, Rozelle/Birchgrove/Drummoyne locals

Newtown (173 King St)

  • 90-minute sessions from $59

  • Sauna, steam, hot spa, ice bath

  • Infrared included

  • Medical-grade red light + salt space

  • Best for: Inner West locals (Newtown, Enmore, Erskineville, Marrickville)

  • No Sunrise Sessions at Newtown

  • Glebe: from $39 (Mon–Thu Sunrise), $49 (Fri–Sun Sunrise), $59 (90 mins Mon–Thu), $69 (90 mins Fri–Sun)

  • Balmain: same price band as Glebe

  • Newtown: 90-minute sessions from $59

This puts Nature’s Energy in line with other major Sydney bathhouses — the difference is that our price already includes infrared, medical-grade red light, towel, locker and tea.

  • Appointments are paid at the time of booking

  • Day Spa Packages/Add-ons booked online: we may contact you before your appointment or at check-in to finalise payment

  • Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and changeover

  • We require guest details to send forms, reminders and important updates

7. Can I reschedule or cancel?

  • 24+ hours’ notice: full value held as credit for 6 months

  • Less than 24 hours: 50% forfeited; 50% held as credit for 6 months

  • No show: charged in full

  • Groups (3+): 72+ hours’ notice

  • If you’re unwell: contact us — we offer a one-time full credit to rebook within 6 months

  • No refunds

  • The bathhouse is communal and mixed-gender; if you want private use, contact us to discuss whole-bathhouse hire (subject to location and time)

Yes, if you book it separately or as a package.

  • Book the bathhouse as a separate service

  • Or choose a Day Spa Package that includes bathhouse + treatment

  • Bathhouse before a treatment improves circulation and results

Note: promo codes do not apply to bookings with more than one guest.

14. Do you offer Health Fund rebates?

Yes. If your fund covers Remedial or Deep Tissue:

  • Book from the Massage (Health Fund) menu

  • Pay the 20% deposit online

  • Present your private health fund card at checkout

  • Any balance/refund is processed within 3 days

  • There is a $10 surcharge on Health Fund appointments on Saturdays and Sundays.

15. What’s your age policy?

  • Guests must be 16+

  • Guests aged 16–17 must be supervised by a parent/guardian

16. I’m pregnant / I have a health condition — is it safe?

  • We cannot admit pregnant guests to the bathhouse, massages, facials or healings - pregnant women can only attend spiritual readings

  • We do not offer pregnancy massage or facials

  • Guests with contagious conditions, open wounds or skin conditions should not use the bathhouse

  • If you are undergoing chemo/radiation; have heart/blood pressure issues; recent surgery/injury; DVT; or seizures — please seek medical advice before booking

  • Participation is voluntary and at your own risk

17. What are the key bathhouse etiquette rules?

  • Whisper-only, low voices at all times

  • Swimwear required at all times

  • Shower before use; sit on a towel in saunas

  • No footwear in saunas/steam

  • No products/oils/salts on sauna rocks or in pools

  • No photography without consent

  • Inappropriate, aggressive, sexual or discriminatory behaviour = immediate removal, no credit

  • Parking: no on-site; 2-hr free behind on Beattie St; 2–4 hrs along Darling St (check signs)

Newtown

  • 173 King St, Newtown

  • Hours: 10:00am–8:00pm Mon-Fri, 9am-7pm Saturday, 10am-7pm Sunday (no Sunrise Bathhouse Sessions)

  • Parking: nearby 2-hr side streets; car parks on Lennox St and Edgeware Rd; longer stays on Church St (check signs)

19. Do you have a public holiday surcharge?

Yes.

  • Bathhouse: +$10

  • Services (massage, facials, spiritual): +15%

20. Do you sell products and gifts?

Yes — skincare, mists, teas, candles, and gifts online and in-store.

21. What are your payment and refund terms?

  • Appointments are paid at the time of booking

  • Some online day spa packages/add-ons are finalised over the phone or via payment link before you attend - we require all bookings to be fully paid in advance

  • We do not offer refunds, only credits with the required notice
