Sustainability
Our Commitment to Sustainability
At Nature’s Energy, we believe in the beauty and power of nature—and our responsibility to it. We exist to inspire wellbeing through the elements of nature and are committed to reducing our environmental footprint every day.
BATHHOUSE
To reduce our impact, all bathhouse bookings now include a complimentary extra-large towel rather than a robe. Packages and bookings with two or more services, including a bathhouse experience, continue to include a complimentary robe and towel. Guests are also welcome to bring their own if they wish.
We’ve also introduced a one-cup-per-person policy, with reusable cups only. This simple change prevents thousands of disposable cups from entering the waste stream each month.
Other ongoing initiatives in our bathhouses include:
-
Minimising single-use items in change rooms
-
Using more sustainable cleaning and amenity products
-
Continuously reviewing how we can reduce waste and energy use
TREATMENTS
At Nature's Energy, your comfort, hygiene, and the environment remain our top priorities. We use fresh towels, recycled paper bed sheets, and our own Nature’s Energy products thoughtfully in every treatment.
We are actively exploring eco-friendly options for treatment amenities, accessories, and laundry practices to ensure each experience nurtures both you and the planet.
PRODUCTS
Our products are hand-crafted in Sydney using locally sourced, natural ingredients. Packaging is made from recycled materials, and our stock is managed closely to avoid waste.
By sourcing oils, clays, and other raw ingredients from within Australia, we reduce transport emissions and support local communities. Looking ahead, we aim to introduce reusable packaging solutions to further close the loop.
FACILITIES
Nature’s Energy is steadily transforming our facilities to be more energy efficient. At our Glebe location, solar panels have been powering the bathhouse since June 2023—a major step in reducing our reliance on fossil fuels.
Across all locations we are:
-
Replacing halogen lights with LEDs
-
Researching energy-efficient appliances
-
Examining water conservation practices
-
Using chemical-free cleaning products
-
Reducing paper use by moving treatment menus online
PEOPLE
Sustainability is part of our culture. Every team member is trained in ways to reduce our environmental impact and is encouraged to bring forward new ideas.
At Nature's Energy, sustainability is not an add-on—it’s a responsibility we embrace every day. Thank you for supporting us on this meaningful journey. Together, we can nurture both personal wellbeing and the health of our planet.
